The first week of marathon training is officially complete. I am enjoying the focus that a target race gives me, I tend to stray from the plan when I don't have a race on the horizon.
Did an easy 8 on Forbidden Drive out to Valley Green and back. The park was fairly crowded with many people out enjoying this November like day.
My legs felt a little beat up this morning but it didn't seem to effect my running at all. I felt pretty good the entire way. I think my leg aches might have more to do with my attempt at changing the rear brakes on my car and rotating the tires then running.
41 miles for the week all moderately easy and 45 minutes of swimming. Right on target.
