It was light enough for my first morning run into the Wissahickon today. There was a heavy fog in the park making for an eerie setting in the soft dawn light. The trails were sodden but my legs weren’t and I bounced along the cushiony route enjoying the relatively warm morning temps.
I’ve taken to often listening to “Marketplace” podcasts on my morning runs and for some reason the drone of financial news didn’t fit the surroundings so I quickly moved on to some music.

I again got out the door later than I intended and my planned 70 minute run was shortened to 50 minutes. For the first time in a while I was wishing I had the full 70 minutes. 6.5 miles.
