I had to drag myself through 6 miles yesterday on a loop through Roxborough. My legs weren't sore and they really didn't feel tired during the day but when I started running they just didn't have any kick.
It was to be expected after a long week so I just plodded along and tried not to think about how the run sucked. I forced myself to run 50 minutes, knowing it was going to take at least that long to get in my goal of 6 miles for the day. Usually things will loosen up but it just didn't happen this run and it was exactly 6 miles in 50 minutes. Oh well, thats why they call them recovery runs.
