My legs wouldn't let me forget the track meet on Tuesday night as I achingly started a recovery run after the sun had set a bit yesterday evening. Things started off slow and didn't get much faster as I ran down Henry Avenue and tried to get myself lost in East Falls.

Although the speed didn't increase my legs got happier and I started to loosen up and enjoy it, the exact reason you are supposed to do one of these recovery runs. I was looking to do six and winding my way through unknown routes is a good way to make yourself do the miles, you're never really sure how far ou have gone and how far it is to go back. 6.4 miles in 52 minutes, just right.
